Ingredients

- ½ brioche bun
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tomato
- Handful of arugula
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 slices of bacon
- 5 black olives
- Small pasta sticks (optional, for the antennae)
How to Make A Ladybug BLT
- Heat olive oil in a pan and toast the brioche bun, cut side down, until it’s golden and crispy. This helps keep the sandwich sturdy and adds a delicious crunch!
- While the bun is toasting, cook the bacon in another pan until it’s crispy. Once done, place it on a paper towel to remove extra grease.
- Spread mayonnaise on the toasted bun.

- Place the crispy bacon on top.

- Add a handful of arugula and drizzle it with lemon juice for a fresh flavor boost.
- Cut a thick tomato slice in half to create the ladybug’s “wings.” Place them on top of the arugula.

- Use half of an olive for the ladybug’s head and dot two tiny spots of mayonnaise for the eyes.
- Stick two small pieces of pasta into the olive to make antennae.
- Slice extra olives into circles and place them on the tomato wings to create ladybug spots.

That’s it! Your ladybug sandwich is ready to enjoy.
