How to Make Queso Dip in the Air Fryer

Step 1: Make the Edible Tortilla Bowl

  • Lay the tortillas inside a baking dish, shaping them into a bowl.
  • Use an air fryer rack to press them down so they hold their shape, and make small cuts along the edges so they don’t fold while cooking.

Tips for the Best Queso Dip

  • If you don’t have an air fryer, bake it in the oven at 350°F for about 10-12 minutes until bubbly.
  • Don’t overcook: Too much heat can make the cheese grainy.
  • Stir halfway through: This helps the cheese melt evenly.
  • Make it spicier: Add chopped jalapeños or a pinch of chili flakes.

How to Store & Reheat Queso Dip

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • To reheat, microwave it with a little milk or cream to bring back the creamy texture.

What to Serve with Mexican Queso Dip

  • Tortilla chips
  • Fresh veggies (carrots, celery, bell peppers)
  • Soft pretzels
  • Drizzled over nachos
  • As a sauce for tacos or burritos
