Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches
Mornings can be crazy, right?
Between getting the kids ready, feeding the cat (who always acts like they haven’t eaten in days), and trying to make yourself look somewhat presentable, breakfast is usually the last thing on your mind.
That’s why I love freezer breakfast sandwiches!
They’re quick, easy, and way better than grabbing something from a drive-thru.
Just pop one in the microwave, and you have a warm, satisfying meal in minutes.
These sandwiches are also perfect for meal prepping, busy families, and even postpartum meals when you need all the help you can get.
Ingredients

- 6 English muffins, cut in half
- 6 large eggs
- 3 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 3 sausage patties
- 6 slices of cheese (I used Gouda)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Butter or cooking spray (for greasing the pan)
How to Make Freezer-Friendly Breakfast Sandwiches
- Fry the bacon until crispy, then drain on paper towels.

- Cook the sausage patties in the same pan until fully cooked.

- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and crack the eggs into it (or use egg rings for a round shape). Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, flipping if you like firmer yolks.

- Place the bottom half of each English muffin on a clean surface.

- Add a slice of cheese.

- For half the sandwiches, add an egg and two pieces of bacon.

- For the other half, add an egg and a sausage patty.

- Top with the other half of the English muffin.

- Wrap each sandwich in parchment paper. Place them in a Ziploc bag or an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months.
- To reheat, unwrap the sandwich from the parchment paper and use your preferred method:
- Microwave: Wrap in a paper towel and heat on high for 1-2 minutes.
- Oven: Wrap in foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Tips for the Best Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches
- Let everything cool before freezing to avoid sogginess.
- Add extra veggies like spinach or roasted bell peppers for more nutrients.
- If you want more flavor, add a little hot sauce, pesto, or even a spread of cream cheese before freezing.
