Air Fryer Avocado Fries

Sharing is caring!

I have a confession. I’m obsessed with avocados.

You name it! Guacamole, avocado toast, or adding slices to my tacos, I just can’t get enough of that creamy goodness.

But the first time I tried air fryer avocado fries, I knew I had found my new favorite snack.

Crispy on the outside, buttery on the inside, and ridiculously easy to make?

Yes, please!

If you’re looking for new air fryer ideas, these crispy avocado fries are a game-changer.

They’re quick, made with simple ingredients, and way healthier than deep-fried alternatives.

Plus, they’re dairy-free and can be made gluten-free!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados. Choose ones that are firm but ripe, so they hold their shape.
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs. Swap for gluten-free panko if needed.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. Use a gluten-free blend if necessary.
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk. Almond or regular milk works too.
  • Salt & pepper, to taste.

Tips for the Best Crispy Avocado Fries

    • Flip halfway through: Helps them crisp up on both sides.
    • A light spray of oil: Gives them an extra golden crunch.
    • Serve immediately: They’re best fresh out of the air fryer!
    • For a Spicy Version: Add cayenne pepper or smoked paprika to the panko.
    • For a Cheesy Version: Mix grated Parmesan into the breadcrumb coating.
    • For Gluten-Free Version: Use gluten-free flour and panko.

    FAQs

    • Can I make these without an air fryer?

Absolutely! Bake them in a 425°F (220°C) oven for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway.

    • How do I store and reheat avocado fries?

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.

    • Can I freeze avocado fries?

Not recommended. Avocados change texture when frozen, making them too mushy.
