Strawberry Acai Refresher

Strawberry Acai Refresher

Sharing is caring!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably found yourself craving a Starbucks Strawberry Refresher on a warm day.

It’s fruity, cool, and just so pretty to look at, right?

But those trips to Starbucks add up, and sometimes, you just want something homemade, fresh, and even a bit healthier.

That’s why I started making this Strawberry Acai Refresher at home.

Not only does it taste just like the Starbucks version (maybe even better?), but it’s also super easy to whip up, naturally sweet, and packed with good-for-you stuff like acai and strawberries.

Plus, if you’re into pink drink recipes, this one is a total winner.

Let me show you how to make your own at home. It’s the perfect summer drink!

Pink marble countertop with bowls of acai powder, coconut water, honey, and frozen strawberries

For the Acai Base:

  • 2 teaspoons acai berry powder
  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or your favorite natural sweetener

For the Strawberry Blend:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3-5 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup cold water (or sparkling water if you like a little fizz)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon (optional)

How to Make a Strawberry Acai Refresher

  1. In a glass, mix the acai powder with 1 cup of cold water or coconut water. I like using a mini electric whisk to get it nice and smooth!

Tips & Tricks for the Best Refresher

  • Want that Starbucks taste? Use coconut water and just the right amount of sweetener. It makes a big difference.
  • Add a splash of coconut milk for a creamier, “pink drink” version.
  • If you are making it ahead, keep it in the fridge (without the ice) for up to a day. Just stir before serving!
  • You can replace some of the water with lemonade for a citrusy version
  • You can add some chilled green or white tea for a caffeine boost.
  • You can use acai juice instead of powder, but it might taste lighter. Powder is more concentrated and gives that deep, pretty color.
