Tips for the Best Mango Margarita

Use Quality Tequila

Since tequila is the star of the show, it’s worth investing in a good-quality silver tequila.

A smoother tequila will make your Mango Margarita taste even better.

Adjusting Sweetness

Not all mangoes are created equal. Some are sweeter than others!

If you find the drink too tart, add a little extra agave syrup. Start with one tablespoon and adjust as needed.

Perfect Ice-to-Fruit Ratio

You want a nice, slushy texture but don’t want it to be watered down.

A good rule of thumb is to use a 2:1 ratio of mango to ice. This keeps the drink thick and flavorful without being too icy.

Pairing Your Mango Margarita

A Mango Margarita pairs wonderfully with all sorts of foods! Here are a few pairing ideas:

  • Grilled Shrimp Tacos: The sweet and spicy flavors of shrimp tacos are perfectly complemented by the tropical sweetness of the Mango Margarita.
  • Fresh Guacamole: Fresh guacamole is an excellent match for the citrusy tang of the margarita.
  • BBQ Chicken Skewers: The smokiness of grilled chicken pairs nicely with the sweetness of mango, creating the perfect balance.
  • Fruit Salad: For a lighter, refreshing snack, pair your margarita with a fresh fruit salad for a double dose of tropical goodness.
